ALL OUT (Always Living Life with our own Unique Twist) Blume Teen Group

Teenagers and young adults face different challenges than children or adults when faced with a cancer diagnosis. This support group solely for teenagers and young adults is hosted by Presbyterian Blume Pediatric Hematology & Oncology Clinic and meets on the third Monday of each month from 6 to 8 p.m. at Novant Health Cancer Center. Budgeting for a Baby 

This 1.5 hour session helps expectant parents and couples who are thinking about becoming pregnant learn to manage the new expenses of having a little one. Participants will learn about the options for saving and leave with steps to become financially content and secure. Free, but please register online. Infant Safety and CPR

This two-hour American Heart Association Family and Friends program is for parents and caregivers of children ages birth to one year. It discusses safety for the home and car as well as the importance of learning basic CPR skills. Sign up today »

Children's Lives Include Moments of Bravery (CLIMB)

CLIMB is a dinner and discussion group for families with a parent or caregiver who has been diagnosed with cancer. Each session consists of two separate support groups: one for children ages 6-12 and one for parents and grandparents. Please call 704-384-0103 for more information or to register.

Hemby & Me

This interactive 45-minute classroom program educates kindergarteners through third graders about proper hand washing, safety, medical terminologies and the spread of germs. If your school would like to have this program presented, please call child life at 704-384-5134.

Parent University

Novant Health Hemby Children's Hospital and Charlotte-Mecklenburg Schools (CMS) have teamed up to create Parent University, a monthly series of free parenting classes for parents of CMS students. Super Sitter

This class teaches kids age 11-15 about babysitting and how to provide safe care for young children.
