Wound Care

Hyperbaric oxygen therapy treatments can be given on an inpatient or outpatient basis once or twice a day as determined by the consulting hyperbaric physician. Each individual treatment will last 90-120 minutes depending on the physician's orders.

The Novant Health Wound Care & Hyperbaric Medicine team will schedule your treatments at the request of the referring physician. If a patient is unable to keep an appointment, we ask that they please notify Novant Health Wound Care & Hyperbaric Medicine as soon as possible by calling 704-384-4098.

Visiting Policy

Family and friends of patients receiving hyperbaric therapy may wait in the waiting area. Visiting is not permitted in hyperbaric chamber rooms; however, if a child requires HBO treatment, one parent is permitted to go into the chamber with their child.
