Although you will receive a clinical breast exam from your ob-gyn during your annual visit, we strongly recommend you also perform regular self-breast exams. These monthly checks can help identify changes in your breasts and detect lumps or abnormalities earlier, when they can generally be treated more easily and more successfully.
