At Novant Health Sports Medicine, our goal is to get you back to playing the sport you love as quickly and safely as possible. That’s why we offer our Black & Blue Clinic for high school sports injuries on Friday nights during the fall.
The clinic:
- Provides after-hours care for concussions, sprains, strains and other sports injuries
- Is staffed by a board-certified sports medicine doctor and a certified athletic trainer
- Offers on-site X-ray services
- Welcomes walk-in patients
In 2012, the Black & Blue Clinic served patients on Friday nights beginning Aug. 17 and ending Nov. 2. 2013 dates will be announced soon.
Patients must check in between 10 and 11:30 p.m. to be seen.
The Novant Health Black & Blue Clinic is housed at Presbyterian Urgent Care Matthews, located inside Novant Health Matthews Medical Center at 1450 Matthews Township Parkway.
