To contact Chaplaincy Services at one of our Novant Health hospitals, call:
  • Presbyterian Medical Center: 704-384-4168
  • Huntersville Medical Center: 704-316-6718
  • Matthews Medical Center: 704-384-6360
Our chaplains are available to provide spiritual guidance, prayer, emotional support and comfort.

Chaplains serve as a resource to ensure that the spiritual needs of patients, their families and loved ones are addressed during their hospital visit, particularly during critical times of need. A chaplain is available 24 hours a day, seven days a week.

When should I call a chaplain?

Facing a challenging or life-threatening medical diagnosis or treatment can lead to deep spiritual inquiry or desire for spiritual support. If you or a loved one confronts such circumstances, you may find comfort in speaking with a chaplain.

Chaplains can help you:

  • Share and sort through confused emotions and fears.
  • Receive prayer support and nonjudgmental guidance.
  • Learn more about appropriate Novant Health resources as well as local faith and religious community resources.
