Joint Commission on Accreditation of Healthcare Organizations.
Novant Health Hospice & Palliative Care is a member of the
National Hospice and Palliative Care Organization (NHPCO) and the
Carolinas Center for Hospice and End of Life Care. These organizations represent and provide support for over 3,000 hospice programs in the nation and the hospice facilities serving all 100 counties in North Carolina.

Each year more than 25 percent of those who die in the United States are Veterans. To support the important contributions made by these men and women, Novant Health Hospice & Palliative Care has become a national partner of We Honor Veterans, a pioneering campaign developed by the National Hospice and Palliative Care Organization (NHPCO) in collaboration with the Department of Veteran Affairs (VA).
Novant Health Hospice shares a common goal with the VA and NHPCO to provide remarkable End-of-Life care, tailored specifically for the veterans we are honored to serve. And in cases where there might be some specific needs related to the Veteran’s military service, combat experience or other traumatic events, Novant Health Hospice & Palliative Care will have access to tools and resources to help Veterans and their families.
Novant Health Hospice has achieved Partner Level Two recognition and is working on Partner Level Three.
