The state-of-the-art Novant Health Arrhythmia Center, located at Novant Health Heart and Vascular Institute, uses a team approach to treating patients with abnormal heart rhythms, including everything from heart flutters to more serious conditions such as atrial fibrillation.
Your heart care team will include electrophysiologists, cardiologists and nurses who work together with your primary care physician and other physicians to find the cause of your arrhythmia and then recommend the best course of treatment for you. Treatments at the Arrhythmia Center can range from dietary changes, some as simple as eliminating caffeine, to medications and surgery.
