When you arrive at the children’s emergency department, your child will be seen quickly by a triage nurse who can evaluate their condition. Next, you’ll be taken to a treatment room, where a physician who specializes in pediatric emergency medicine will examine your child and discuss the treatment options.
We see everyone as quickly as possible. However, we do treat the most critical patients first. Our staff will do its best to speed the process, and we’re always available to answer any questions you may have and soothe your child’s fears.

In addition, we will work with your pediatrician or family medicine physician to coordinate your child’s care going forward.
