National Cancer Survivor’s Day is held annually in hundreds of communities throughout the country on the first Sunday in June. It is a symbolic event to demonstrate that life after a cancer diagnosis can be a reality.
Every year, Novant Health Cancer Center celebrates Survivor’s Day in grand fashion! All cancer survivors and their families are invited to enjoy a block party and celebrate life with cancer center staff and other survivors.

Highlights include wellness activities, great food and fellowship with fellow survivors, as well as child-friendly activities such as face painting, mascot visits, inflatable games, and arts and crafts.
