Camp Phoenix is a day-long camping retreat for cancer survivors and their family. This annual fall event is held at Camp Thunderbird on Lake Wylie. Camp Phoenix gives you and your family time to relax, enjoy nature and take your mind off your disease. There are activities for family members of all ages, and all meals are provided. Past activities have included:
- Therapeutic journaling
- Therapeutic drumming
- Therapeutic scrapbooking
- Meditation
- Yoga & massage
- Canoeing & zip line
