Colorectal cancer is cancer of the colon or rectum, and it is one of the most commonly diagnosed cancers for both men and women in the United States. It is more common in people over the age of 40. Colorectal cancer screening at regular intervals is crucial in order to detect and remove precancerous cells and prevent the disease before it starts.

Genetic Counseling

With certain cancers, such as colon cancer, family history is an important indicator in determining your chance of developing the disease. With our cancer genetic counseling program, you can work with a genetic counselor to learn how your family history may influence your risk for cancer. Based on the assessment, genetic testing options may be further discussed with you.
