Presbyterian Hospital Earns Society of Thoracic Surgeons’ Three-Star Rating Once Again

Presbyterian Hospital in Charlotte has earned the Society of Thoracic Surgeons’ three-star rating, representing the highest quality of cardiac surgical care. Presbyterian is the only hospital in the Charlotte area consistently ranked as a three-star cardiac surgery program since 2009. Only 14 percent of all cardiac surgery hospitals in the U.S. have received this top ranking, placing our physicans among the nation’s best at consistently providing excellent surgical outcomes.

Radiologic Technology Students Sweep Awards

Students in the radiologic technology program at Presbyterian Hospital attended the annual conference of the North Carolina Society of Radiologic Technologists, Inc. They submitted scientific exhibits into a competition with other students across the state. Three of Presbyterian’s senior students won the only three awards given in the category of student scientific exhibits.
