Dr. Hedge brings years of experience and is board-certified in family medicine and sports medicine. A graduate of Ohio State University, he earned his medical degree from Ohio University College of Osteopathic Medicine in Athens, Ohio and completed a family medicine residency at Fairview Hospital/Cleveland Clinic in Cleveland. Dr. Hedge completed a sports medicine fellowship at Duke University in Durham, N.C.
Dr. Hedge specializes in sports medicine and has experience working with many prominent athletes. He has served as the sports medicine event team physician for the Modern Pentathlon World Cup Series, World’s Strongest Man Competition, Presbyterian Hospital Invitational Criterium, USA Canoe & Kayak national team trials and more. His special skills include musculoskeletal ultrasound injections, fracture care and osteopathic manipulation therapy. In addition, he is a certified ImPACT™ consultant, meaning he has advanced training in concussion care.
