Presbyterian Hospital Voted Best Place to Give Birth

Presbyterian Hospital was voted Best Place to Give Birth by the readers of Charlotte Parent magazine, as part of their annual Family Favorites survey. The high quality medical care, compassionate nurses and luxurious amenities helped Presbyterian Hospital achieve this honor. In addition, Presbyterian Hospital Matthews was voted as the runner up for the same category.

“We are delighted to be recognized as the best place to give birth,” Pat Campbell, vice president for women’s and children’s services for Presbyterian Healthcare. “We strive to make the birthing experience as comfortable as possible and create a remarkable atmosphere for new moms to enjoy their first few days with their new bundle of joy.”

In 2011, Presbyterian Hospital delivered 5,029 babies, Presbyterian Hospital Huntersville delivered 1,092 babies and Presbyterian Hospital Matthews delivered 1,335 babies, totaling 7,456 babies for the Presbyterian Healthcare system.
