Poker Tournament to Benefit Physicians Impact Fund to Improve Health of the Community

The Basara Company announced that proceeds from the 4th Annual Queen City Shootout charity poker tournament will benefit Physicians Impact Fund, a nonprofit group affiliated with Presbyterian Healthcare Foundation with a mission to provide financial grants to organizations in the Charlotte area to improve the health of the community.

Created by physicians, friends and families in the Greater Charlotte area, the operations of this organization are funded by the Presbyterian Healthcare Foundation, allowing 100 percent of contributions to go directly to the community. Through the power of collective giving, the Physicians' Impact Fund awards high-impact grants in the range of $50,000 - $100,000 on an annual basis. Grants are thoroughly evaluated using the following criteria:

- Ability to meet critical healthcare needs
- Measurable outcomes
- Sustainability
- Opportunity to foster colalborative efforts or partnerships

The Basara Company is proud to continue supporting local charities with critical, mission based, community oriented goals through proceeds from the annual Queen City Shootout poker tournament and is looking forward to another successful year providing entertainment and raising funds from the Charlotte poker community.
