Presbyterian Hospital Matthews Hosts Charity Basketball Game

MATTHEWS, N.C. — The event will bring together six teams to compete in the inaugural charity basketball game on Thurs., Oct 20 from 6 to 10 p.m. at Butler High School. The goal of the event is to raise money for The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society ®.

The first game will begin at 7 p.m. with the Presbyterian Hospital Matthews radiology staff playing against Mecklenburg Radiology, followed by the Presbyterian Hospital Matthews emergency department staff versus Mid-Atlantic Emergency Medical Associates at 7:30 p.m.  At 8 p.m., Mecklenburg Radiology will play Mid-Atlantic Emergency Medical Associates, and Presbyterian Hospital Matthews administration will play OrthoCarolina in the last game at 8:30 p.m.

Concessions will be provided. Admission is five dollars per person and 20 dollars for families of four or more. All proceeds will go towards The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society®.
