Dr. Romanowski specializes in orthopaedic surgery and sports medicine. He graduated from West Virginia University School of Medicine in Morgantown, W. Va. and completed a residency in orthopaedic surgery at the University of Cincinnati in Cincinnati, Ohio. He completed fellowships in sports medicine at the University of Pittsburgh Medical Center in Pittsburgh, Pa., shoulder surgery at the Alps Surgery Institute in Annecy, France and shoulder and elbow surgery at the Harvard Shoulder Service in Boston, Mass. He also served as a visiting clinician in elbow surgery at the Mayo Clinic in Rochester, Minn.

Dr. Romanowski served as a resident physician at the NFL combine. He also served as assistant team physician for the National Hockey League’s Pittsburgh Penguins, National Football League’s Pittsburgh Steelers, Carnegie Mellon University men’s football team and Pittsburgh Ballet Theatre. He has been honored with numerous awards.
