Presbyterian Healthcare is proud to announce that all three of its Charlotte-area, acute care hospitals maintained their designation as primary stroke centers. In 2004, Presbyterian Hospital in Charlotte was the first hospital in the region to receive this designation.

Cary Fishburne, MD, recently took home top honors at The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society Western North Carolina chapter’s annual Charlotte Man and Woman of the Year celebration. The event and the campaign’s twelve candidates, including Fishburne, collectively raised more than $210,000 for the Western North Carolina chapter of The Leukemia and Lymphoma Society (LLS).

Presbyterian Healthcare Foundation announced today that it has received a $25,000 grant from the CVS Caremark Charitable Trust, the private foundation created by CVS Caremark Corporation, to benefit the Presbyterian Hospital Community Care Cruiser.
