Presbyterian Healthcare Foundation helped MedAssist receive a grant from The Duke Endowment, which will assist with program expansion during a time when many non-profit organizations are experiencing cutbacks. The grant total of $400,000 will be distributed to MedAssist over the next three years.

Presbyterian Healthcare President Mark Billings will serve as chair for the 2010 March of Dimes’ annual fundraiser, March for Babies. Taking place on April 24 in uptown Charlotte, March for Babies is the largest fundraiser for March of Dimes, and all funds from the walk are dedicated directly to research that prevents birth defects, premature birth and infant mortality.
